    The grounds include the historic home of the Yeo family. It has been restored to 1865 appearance and is well worth taking the time to tour. There are staff on the sight who will happily answer your questions.

    This museum is not large but is packed with loads of interesting information on the local ship building. The scale and nature of the local ship building industry was truly surprising. The displays are well laid out out and present the information clearly. The staff where cheerful and knowledgeable.
